Olympic Gold Medalist Stephanie Rice Teams Up With Vegan Nutrition Brand
The olympic swimmer is now the brand ambassador for the company, which is preparing to launch the new range at 950 Woolworths stores across Australia.
“I really value good quality, authentic partnerships like this, that emphasise the importance and benefits of eating plant-based,” Rice shared in an email to Raise Vegan.
“Surging Plant-Based Movement”
Former Mr Universe winner Billy Simmonds launched PranaOn in 2012 to make plant-based nutrition more attractive and accessible.
“We’re thrilled to be at the forefront of the surging plant-based movement here in Australia,” said Simmonds in an email to Raise Vegan.
“It’s been our goal since day one to help as many active Australians as we can realise the benefits of plant-based nutrition. Launching into Woolworths is a huge step towards that goal, and with the support of Stephanie Rice, is primed to be a great success.”

All of the products within PranaOn’s Lifestyle Range are gluten-free, and contain digestive enzymes and probiotics. They are available in a range of flavors, including choc fudge brownie and peanut-butter jelly.
Experts predict the plant-based foods market will be worth over $6 billion by 2030, with investment in alternative protein products already hitting $930 million this year so far.
