Vegan Cooking Show "New Day New Chef" Launches On Amazon Prime
A new vegan cooking show has launched on Amazon Prime and will air on US Public Television later this year.
The show — New Day New Chef — is hosted by award-winning journalist and best-selling author Jane Velez-Mitchell.
Each episode of the show will feature a different celebrity co-host, as well as a selection of new chefs and taste testers.
“A Joyous Adventure”
“The plant-based lifestyle is a joyous adventure,” said Velez-Mitchell.
“There is more variety in vegan food, given that modern consumers eat only about a half a dozen species of animals: cows, pigs, chickens, turkeys, lambs, and goats.”
“Meanwhile, there are tens of thousands of vegetables, grains, nuts and fruits…Because our food is not as mainstream (not yet anyway), it encourages you to seek something different. This usually turns out to be an incredibly authentic and memorable experience.”
