Subway Styled Vegan Salad
I love Subway salads and have come up this dairy and meat free versions of mine that I find really easy to prepare on a busy day. This is the best way to include more veggies in your diet. Take a salad bowl and add all the chopped veggies you have in your refrigerator. My favorite ones are iceberg lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red and white onion, olives, pickles, cucumber, bell pepper, spinach and shredded cabbage. Drizzle a little maple syrup over it and season with salt and pepper. Occasionally I use non dairy mayonnaise and cheese or non gelatin balsamic vinegar as salad dressing.

This is my absolute favorite. There is not one thing that can beat this delicious instantly refreshing combo of hot ginger tea and onion fritters (commonly known as pakoda in India). The recipe is very simple. All you need is a cup of gram flour, two medium sized sliced onions, green chilis (slit and diced), cumin powder (a pinch), salt and pepper, vegetable oil to fry, and lemon juice (about a teaspoon). Take a bowl and add gram flour, salt, pepper, cumin powder and lemon juice to it. Add water gradually and pulse it till you obtain a smooth consistency. The batter should neither runny nor too thick. Coat sliced onions and green chilis
