3 Vegan Beer Cocktails To Hold You Over Until Spring

I’ve been counting down the days until Spring is here and I’ve been celebrating by enjoying a lot of vegan beer cocktails since the weather here in France has been absolutely gorgeous for these past few weeks. Shout-out to all my family in California for braving through the crazy storms. Some of my favorite beer cocktails that I’ve been making at home are French Monaco, the Beergarita, and the Panaché. All of these drinks are sweet, light, and can be made with minimal ingredients and effort. No matter the temperature where you are, you deserve to channel into Spring early this year- here are three of the simplest and most delicious vegan beer cocktails to hold you over until Spring.

3 Vegan Beer Cocktails To Hold You Over Until Spring

French Monaco


  • 1 12 oz lager of your choice (I like Heineken for this recipe)
  • 1-2 shots grenadine
  • sugar


  1. In a pint glass, slowly add in a cold 12 oz lager and let the foam subside.
  2. Mix between 1 and 2 shots of grenadine and a pinch of sugar to the beer and stir well.
  3. (Optional) Add more grenadine and sugar to make as sweet as you would like and enjoy immediately while cold.

  • 6 oz lager beer of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons of tequila
  • 2-4 tablespoons simple syrup
  • ½ tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • optional: lime wedge to garnish
  • salt for rim of the glass


  1. (Optional) Wet the rim of a pint glass and place rim-side down in a small plate with salt.
  2. Slowly add in a lager beer of your choice to the pint glass and stir in tequila, simple syrup, and freshly squeezed lime juice. You may add more simple syrup to make it as sweet as you like your drinks.
  3. (Optional) Add a fresh lime wedge on the rim to garnish
  4. Enjoy with your feet up and a side of chips and salsa.

Panaché (Lemonade beer)


  • 1 part lager beer of your choice
  • 1 part lemonade (home-made is definitely superior)


  1. In a pint glass, slowly mix one part of a cold lager beer with one part of cold lemonade.
  2. Serve with a couple of ice cubes, a lemon twist, and serve immediately. Drink from a reusable straw for the best experience.
