Ben and Jerry’s New Dairy Free Flavors Hit The Market
The ice cream makers from Vermont have released two new flavors to add to their non- dairy collection. Chocolate Caramel Cluster, a non-dairy, almond milk ice cream with fudge chunks, peanuts, and salted caramel swirls and a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, vanilla ice cream with chocolate chip cookie dough and fudge flakes.

The addition of these two delicious new flavors now brings Ben & jerry’s non-dairy line up to eleven flavors. The dairy-free, vegan line includes flavors such as; Caramel Almond Brittle, fan favorite Cherry Garcia, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, my absolute fave, Chunky Monkey, Cinnamon Buns, Coconut Seven Layer Bar, Coffee Caramel & Fudge, PB & Cookies and Peanut Butter Half Baked.
All of Ben & Jerry’s euphoric, non-dairy masterpieces are made with non-GMO sourced ingredients. The company partnered with Vegan Action to certify that their non-dairy offerings are entirely free from animal products such as; eggs, dairy or honey. After experimenting with many different formulas, the companies ‘Flavor Gurus’ decided on almond milk because they felt it was the best ‘blank canvas’ for the delicious fillings.
Ben and Jerry’s new dairy free flavors are available nationwide for around $5 per pint. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough will be available at participating Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops.
I’m a huge Ben & Jerry’s fan, always have been, yet I had absolutely NO idea that they had SO MANY non-dairy flavors. This news is bittersweet to me. I just know that the next time I go grocery shopping I’m going to raid the ice cream freezer and load up my cart with every flavor that I can find, which is fantastic for my taste buds but probably not so great for that summer body I’ve been meaning to work on (for the last twenty years).
