Pro-Trump Group Glues "Make America Great Again" Hats On Pigeons
A group known as Pigeons Unite To Interfere Now (P.U.T.I.N) has glued “Make America Great Again” hats to a group of 24 pigeons in support of the US president.
The hat-wearing-birds were released in downtown Las Vegas last week, shortly before Donald Trump arrived in the city.
The cruel stunt was also timed to coincide with the arrival of six Democratic presidential candidates for a debate in Nevada.
“Support And Loyalty”
P.U.T.I.N announced that it had performed the stunt to protest the presence of the Democratic presidential hopefuls, as well as in “a gesture of support and loyalty to President Trump.”

Cruelty To Pigeons
The pro-Trump group claims to have used eyelash glue to harmlessly attach the hats, saying there is no “difference between this or people dressing up their dogs or cats.”
Animal welfare organizations have slammed the stunt, explaining that it could have caused suffering for the birds.
“Stupid pranks like this one are serious business that can interfere with pigeons’ ability to fly, see, and avoid predators,” said Stephanie Bell, senior director of cruelty casework for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
“It’s no surprise that at least one pigeon used in a similar stunt has already died.”
