Delicious Vegan Seed Crackers Recipe You Need To Try
Vegan Seed Crackers Recipe
I love making these little seed crackers. They are amazing to serve them at my food demos – always a winner. This seed crackers recipe is so simple and nutrient dense. Great for lunch boxes, dipping or topped with some avocado.
I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who doesn’t like crackers, they’re so versatile and great for a snack. This seed crackers recipe is definitely one of my favorite go-to recipes for a simple, healthy snack.
YOU WILL NEED •
- 3/4 cup flaxseed meal
- 1/2 cup flaxseeds
- 2/3 cup sunflower seeds
- 1/2 cup pepitas
Combine in a bowl and cover with some water, allowing each seed to soak. (Just enough to cover). Let sit for 30 mins (this will cause the mixture to become gluggy and spreadable).
Add some seasoning to complement the seed flavor (play with put emphasis on flavors, herbs, spices etc for fun).
I add :
A good pinch of salt
Dash of pepper
2 tsp coconut aminos
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
METHOD FOR SEED CRACKERS•
1. Spread mixture thinly onto baking paper on your baking tray and bake in the oven at 170*C (350*F) for 30 mins.
2. Turn oven off and leave the door closed for another hour, while crackers dehydrate some more.
