Sensitive Content Alert: Animal Abuse as Dog Tied To A Vehicle And Dragged

Animal Abuse Report: This defenseless female dog, who gave birth to a litter barely twenty days ago, was tied to a two-wheeler and mercilessly dragged on the road until people passing by intervened. Watch the entire video here.

A tweet from handle @HatindersinghR on Saturday gained widespread attention for it contained a video of reckless brutality only humans are capable of. Allegedly, two boys from Ghaziabad tied a female dog to their scooter and dragged her on road. The cruel and inhumane act would have gone unchecked had people passing by not intervened. The dog was rescued and rushed to a nearby veterinary hospital where it was declared brought dead. 

The poor defenseless innocent dog leaves behind a litter of 5 pups. The tweet hit animal lovers hard who immediately tagged PETA India demanding immediate action against the culprits.

PETA India responded with the claims that the culprits have been detained and arrested while the dog’s body shall undergo autopsy. A local NGO would be following up the case. 

Animal Abuse Response 

The unfortunate incident brings us to the uncomfortable question, “whatever happened to humanity and empathy”? 

We hope the culprits receive strictest punishment possible.
