Vegan Athlete Lewis Hamilton Says Footage Of This Industry Broke His Spirit
Vegan athlete Lewis Hamilton took to Instagram this week to share footage of the “barbaric” reality of the leather industry.
The post included a video and caption shared by animal rights organization PETA, alongside words written by the F1 pro.
“I woke up feeling good today but this has just broke my spirit” Hamilton wrote.
“This is so graphic, so barbaric. @peta how can I help stop this?”
The video pictured men dragging a cow across a cement floor, before bludgeoning and stabbing her to death while she fought for her life. It can be seen here.
