France’s First Vegan Fast Food Joint Coming Soon; It is 100% Ecological
Vegans living in France, rejoice! Soon, we will be able to enjoy the delicious experience of France’s first vegan fast food style burger joint (because let’s be honest, sometimes fast-food is the right choice). Beginning this summer, gone are the days where you’ll have to settle for Le Bon Végetal’s burgers (which are pretty good, but in my opinion, they taste too much like what non-vegans imagine vegan burgers to taste like) because you’ll be able to enjoy the full experience of going out to order one.

France’s First Vegan Fast Food Joint Coming Soon; It is 100% Ecological
Set to officially open to the public this summer thanks to founder Kévin Debos, Portland Burgers will be France’s very first 100% “végétal et écolo” fast-food burger place. With a location in Nantes, home of Les Machines de Nantes which is known for it’s completely robotic and cruelty-free elephant-riding experience, what better place is there to open a vegan burger spot? According to Debos in an interview with Ouest France, there won’t be any walls hiding the kitchen from the dining area so that customers can see and learn about what they are eating.
At Portland Burgers, you can expect to find deliciously crispy house-made fries, house-made sweet and vegan donuts, organic soda, and of course, a menu of satisfying and completely plant-based burgers that will make your stomach sing. The greatness doesn’t stop there, for every five

Although I’m living about five hours away from Nantes, I am very excited to eventually make the journey to try out this fast-food restaurant once they open! Possibly ordering a dozen more burgers to take back home with me.
Will you try out Portland Burgers next time you’re in France? Which vegan burger joint is your local favorite where you’re from? Let me know in the comments below.
