Home Office Inspiration To Get You Motivated

In the midst of doing some minor (okay, major) home redecoration in order to motivate me to work on my novel I, of course, turned to Instagram for major motivation. Having a workspace that properly reflects yourself is essential when it comes to thriving, especially if you work from home as I do. It helps your mind differentiate between home mode and work mode. Even if you have to make do with a small space, it does not have to be an impossible task to create a productivity-improving space. If your space is limited, think about utilizing a corner to create your own personal nook in the living room or even a guest room. Cash in on using a dresser with spacious drawers as a printer stand to save on space.

The combination of bright white, plant green, and sea foam tones not only looks elegant but the calm tones will clear your mind enoug for you to get to business. Even if you dont have enough of a green thumb to care for a living plant, a faux one will do.

Don’t shy away from letting your fur babies join you in your home office space (as long as you can resist temptation to give them endless love). With a simple faux fur throw and a comfy chair cushion, you can beat the feeling of dread that comes over you while thinking about sitting on a hard plastic chair for hours.

Shelves, window, and shades of mauve? Yes please! Hang family photos or minimalistic, locally made art to inspire your creativity in your home office.

Channel your inner plant-goddess because this office space is simple, lively, and has the perfect dash of rustic. Using a grid frame, hang inspirational quotes to motiate your self to be a girl boss.

Cozy and welcoming, this is an an office space where you’ll want to put on a pair of fuzzy socks and cuddle up in a large blanket scarf. Use under-the-desk storage for documents, stationary, and most importantly, snacks.
