According to USA Today Jaden celebrated his 21st birthday by launching the food truck event in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles. Smith took to his own Instagram page to promote the event stating
“The @ILoveYouRestaurant Is A Movement That Is All About Giving People What They Deserve, Healthy, Vegan Food For Free. Today We Launched Our First One Day Food Truck Pop-Up in Downtown LA. Keep A Look Out Because This Is The First Of Many”
The post has had over three million views since it went live two days ago.
Examining the pictures on the I Love You Restaurant Instagram, it appears diners were treated to delicious bowls filled with salad, and rice and beans.
This isn’t the first philanthropic act of Smith, according to USA Today Smith has previously worked with a First Trinity Missionary Baptist Church in Flint Michigan to help bring clean water to the city.
