Lewis Hamilton Claims F1 Success Is Down To Vegan Diet Health Benefits
Lewis Hamilton has revealed in an interview with GQ magazine that his vegan diet has enhanced his performance on the race track.
The vegan racing driver spoke to the international men’s magazine about how switching to plant-based eating has given him an advantage on the track.
“Ultimately, you want to feel great. You want to have energy, to be consistent,” Hamilton said, “You don’t want to have the big oscillations and highs and lows in your energy levels. Veganism has eradicated that.”
“The impact it can have on your body. That’s a free advantage I’m going to take. If no one else wants it, well that’s their loss.”
The formula one star recently donated $500,000 to the wildlife rescue efforts in Australia, demonstrating that his love for animals extends much further than just keeping them off his plate.
