Lewis Hamilton Says That Killing Animals Is The Same As Killing People

by | February 20, 2020

Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton has urged his fans to go vegan — explaining that there is no difference between killing animals and killing people.

Hamilton shared a video of meat industry animal mistreatment with his 14.3 million Instagram followers yesterday. Alongside the video he wrote, “This is the world we currently live in where humans believe that an animals life is worth less than one of our own.”

“This is why I went vegan”

“The food you buy and eat today, at home or in restaurants is coming from places like this. This is why I went vegan, to not support this barbaric behaviour and slaughtering of millions of animals. I don’t support this industry,” Hamilton continued.

“To me, this is no different to the slaughtering of millions of people over the years during the war, it is unacceptable and we have to work together to change this.”

“So glad you are posting this for the world to see and wake up to those who are still condoning this by eating this,” wrote one follower.

“Seeing that I’m now going vegan. Thank you Lewis,” responded another.

One Instagram follower who wasn’t shocked by the video wrote, “Mmm this just reminded me that the pork chop I had for lunch today was so good.”
