Mouthwatering Vegan Banana Bread Recipe With Optional Walnuts
Who doesn’t love a hot cup of tea or coffee, cozy on a winters afternoon and the smell of freshly baked vegan banana bread? It’s one of the many things I look forward to about winters.
So without much further ado, I present the best banana walnut recipe there is! If you have a tree nut allergy, just skip the walnuts.
Vegan Banana Bread

INGREDIENTS
- Four bananas
- 1.5 cups of flour, gluten-free if you’re avoiding it!
- 1.5
tsps of baking powder - Half a
tsps baking soda (don’t mix these up) - 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of canola oil
- Handful of walnuts for the vegan banana bread topping

INSTRUCTIONS
- Prepare your pans by greasing them lightly and pre-heating your oven to 350 degrees.
- Chop your bananas into small pieces that are mostly smashed.
- Combine the flour, baking soda/powder. Then fold in your chopped bananas, sugar and oil until 100% mixed together.
- Pour into the prepared baking tins and top with walnuts.
- Bake your vegan banana bread for 45 mins. Check with a toothpick if it comes out clean. If not, leave in for another few moments and periodically test it.
