New children’s book “Charlie to the Rescue” to be released in March
Charlie to the Rescue is the first of many fun and colorful children’s books that Kara intends to publish. The thirty-two-page picture book is scheduled for release on March 5th. The author asks you to follow Charlie on his journey as he discovers everything he needs to do to help keep his friends from the farm safe. The book is designed for ages three to eight.
After several years of thinking and revision, Kara came up with the concept for Charlie to the Rescue. She wanted to write a fun and child-friendly book that had a strong vegan message. Kara wanted to show the double standard of loving a pet and treating other animals as food.
