Pizza Chain Papa John’s Creates Vegan Breakfast Pizza
Popular pizza chain Papa John’s will be serving a limited-edition vegan Breakfast Pizza in the UK this week.
The Breakfast Pizza features favorites from the traditional English breakfast, such as baked beans, mushrooms, sausage and potato — on top of a layer of cheese.
“After such great enthusiasm for the Breakfast Pizza over the last bank holiday, we’re excited to bring it back alongside our version made for vegan customers” said Giles Codd, the UK marketing director at Papa John’s.
“So, whether you’re into bacon or beans, this is a must-try this bank holiday weekend, especially if you were unable to get your hands on it last time.”
The plant-based dish will be on sale between May 21 and May 25 to celebrate the spring bank holiday.

Vegan At Papa John’s
Papa John’s has been working to up its plant-based game in recent years.
In the UK, customers have been able to enjoy dairy-free pizzas since the start of 2019. Later in the year, the company hired a Chief Vegan Officer to help develop more dishes free from animal products.
Earlier this year, Papa John’s became the first fast-food chain in Spain to serve vegan pizza — a country where it has 70 restaurants.
