The Slutty Vegan, known for its Vegan Burgers, is Opening a Restaurant

Pinky Cole is proving that comfort food can be plant-based and delicious. Pinky has been serving up plant-based burgers with some daring names since August in her food truck, The Slutty Vegan.

The Slutty Vegan Is Opening A Restaurant

The unfiltered restaurateur has decided to open a brick and mortar restaurant in the West-view neighborhood of Atlanta. An opening date has been set for January 13, 2019.

The Slutty Vegan food truck has proved wildly popular, often selling out of food. Delighting diners with dishes such as, The Fussy Hussy, an Impossible burger topped with “cheese,” lettuce, onion, pickle and vegan mayo on a Hawaiian bun, Dance Hall Queen, a patty served with grilled onions, vegan cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and sweet jerk plantain on a Hawaiian bun, One Night Stand  a plant-based patty, vegan bacon, American cheese, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and a secret sauce on a Hawaiian bun and the Heaux Boy, vegan shrimp tossed in a New Orleans-style batter, served on a Hawaiian bun with pickles, lettuce and drizzled with a special secret sauce.

The restaurant will serve the same menu as the food truck and will also include vegan milkshakes. The Slutty Vegan will be open from 4 p.m.-2 a.m. for dinner and late-night ‘devoury’.  

The truck won’t be retiring any time soon and will still hit the street occasionally,  heading out on a “slutty tour,” to other cities to promote eating a plant-based.

Cole chose the business’ theme, which she describes as “slutty but conservative,” to get more people to take a chance veganism. She says sex sells, and she thinks healthier eating can sell as well. Cole, a Clark Atlanta University alum used to own a restaurant and juice bar in New York and was also a television producer.

The Slutty Vegan Instagram account has nearly 38,000 followers. She has also served a a number of Atlanta’s hottest celebrities such as Jermaine Dupri, Porsha Williams and Da Brat.
