The lineup behind the app includes Chris’ wife, forty-two-year-old actor and fitness author, Elsa Pataky, personal trainer Luke Zocchi, yoga instructor Tahl Rinsky, and Master Chef’s Dan Churchill. Other participants also include Australian personal trainer Tiffiny Hall, Hollywood trainer Gunnar Peterson, and vegan bodybuilder Torre Washington.
The Thor actor promises that the app will ‘help you develop a healthier body, stronger mind, and happier life. The Centr app will have a central feed where you can find a weekly planner, new workouts, meditation videos, and recipes. The workouts will include twenty or forty-minute boxing, high intensity interval training (HIIT), yoga, and strength training for at home and the gym. Users will be able to set goals and track their progress and set their chosen intensity level. There will also be a mindfulness section where users can find guided meditations, confidence-building exercises, sleep visualizations, along with stress relief tips.
The Centr app will also offer meal plans that can be personalized for vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian diets. All of the recipes are dietitian-approved and will come with automated shopping lists.
On Wednesday Chris took to Instagram to promote the app that he’s been working on for years — saying that his goal was to build a program that takes all of the guesswork and excuses out of training, eating, and living well. The star wants to give users access to the same team of world-class health and wellness experts that he has had the fortune of learning from.
The Centr app will be available globally in February and will cost users AU$19.99 per month.
