Like other parts of the plant-based menu, tending the spur in demand for plant-based frozen desserts, United Kingdom chocolatier Hotel Chocolat has reportedly launched new non-dairy plant-based ice-lollies that are made of real fruits and then dipped in luxury chocolate. Out of the four new additions, only two flavors will be suitable for vegans and both dipped in 70 percent dark chocolate. The vegan flavors will be Orange and Lemon Dipped in Dark Chocolate and Just Chocolate. The 90 grams each of the item will cost £3.25.

The products will reportedly be stocked at 10 of its branches in Birmingham Bullring, Cambridge, Derby,  Hitchin, Leeds Trinity, London King’s Cross, London – Regent Street, Milton Keynes, Nottingham, and St. Albans.

The company’s plant-based range already consists of mouthwatering items like Turkish delights, hot chocolates, and truffles, among others. You can get your hands on chocolate dipped vegan ice lollies starting this summer, and that’s exactly when you need them.

Spur of Non-Dairy Ice-Creams

Hotel Chocolat’s launch of two new vegan options is in sync with the launch of plant-based non-dairy ice-creams by other players such as Ben & Jerry’s and Häagen-Dazs. According to data by Global Marketing Insights, the market for non-dairy ice cream will surpass $1 billion by 2024.

“Growing vegan population along with inclination towards healthy lifestyles are among key factors propelling the non-dairy ice cream market growth,” says the research.
