Vegan Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Banana Bread.

This Vegan gluten free chocolate chip banana bread is super moist and full of flavor! I made this for Thanksgiving this year and it was a huge hit. What’s not to love about a flavorful freshly baked bread?

Vegan gluten free chocolate chip banana bread recipe:

Prep Time 5 minutes

Cook Time 45 minutes
Total Time 50 minutes


  • 1 3/4 cups gluten-free flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 7/8 cup organic cane sugar or coconut sugar
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 very ripe bananas
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup vegan chocolate chips
  • 3/8 cup water

Instructions to bake Vegan Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Put the bananas in a mixing bowl and mash with a fork. Add the olive oil and stir.

Add the sugar and maple syrup, water, and vinegar, and mix until combined.

Add the gluten free flour, baking soda, chocolate chips, baking powder, and salt and mix together.

Spoon into a loaf pan, sprinkle some extra chocolate chips on top, and bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Cool for 30 minutes in the pan, then remove from pan and cool on a cooling rack.

Once the loaf is fully cooled, use a serrated knife to slice it.
