Ingredients:

  • Blueberries: ½ cup/ frozen
  • Blackberries: ½ cup
  • Strawberries: 2 cups/ frozen
  • Banana: 1 whole/ Half part- frozen
  • Dragon fruit: 1 whole
  • Black grapes: ½ cup
  • Almonds: a few
  • Almond milk: 1 cup
  • Coconut milk: ½ cup
  • Sunflower seeds: 3 tablespoons/ soaked overnight
  • Flax seeds: 3 tablespoons/ soaked overnight
  • Chia seeds: 1 tablespoon
  • Basil leaves: a handful
  • Lemon juice– one tablespoon

P.S- The fruits you’ll be using, would be used in two parts. One, as a part of the smoothie with the plant-based milk(s) in the blender, and two, chopped, whole fruits in filling the bowl along with the seeds, for adding bite. You can choose any vegan milk, including oats, but here I am suggesting coconut with almond in parts.

Instructions:

  • Chop the fresh blackberries, dragon fruit, and black grapes, half-part from one whole banana and put them in a blender along with the frozen fruits (strawberry, banana, and blueberry).
  • Add the soaked almonds, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, almond milk, and coconut milk and blend into a thick smoothie.
  • Add three-four basil and the lemon juice into the blender as well. This will give a distinct flavor.
  • Now transfer the smoothie in a bowl and top it off with whole-fresh fruits that you have used. Add some sliced bananas and do not forget a layer of dry chia seeds. Spread some coconut creme on top, if you wish. Serve immediately.
