will.i.am wants to write a vegan cookbook

American music powerhouse and Voice UK host, will.i.am tells The Sun that he’d like to write a vegan cookbook. The music mogul is so impressed with the turn around in his health since turning vegan in 2017, he would like to inspire others. What better way to do that, than through a cookbook. He told The Sun, “A book is nice. A book is effortless but the results help more people.”

Writing a book doesn’t seem like that much of a stretch for the “wordy AF” music mogul and TV host. In fact, I’d welcome a vegan cookbook with a bit of an edge and maybe a few F-bombs thrown in for good measure.

Will.i.am began his vegan journey back in 2017, after a visit with his doctor resulted in a prescription for cholesterol pills. Not wanting to take medication like his sixty-something uncle, the “Imma be” hitmaker decided to try a plant-based diet. After losing 8 lbs and dropping his cholesterol in only 10 days, the singer/songwriter was hooked.

The music mogul says that he “doesn’t miss steak” at all. In fact, he hates the thought of “eating dead animals, gnawing on flesh.” The outspoken singer has blasted corruption in the food industry before, saying in an Instagram post last year that for years he’d wake up still tired because of what his body was processing. “God knows what type of crazy wicked sh*t that was approved,” also claiming that there’s a darker side to the food industry and that they’re keeping everyone sick.

His co-coach on the Voice Uk, Olly Murs thinks he should name his vegan cookbook after his band Black Eyed Peas, joking that he’s already got the vegetables in the title.
