Ben & Jerry’s Launched New Flavour of Vegan Ice-cream at Target
The ‘Chocolate Salted ‘n Swirled Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert,’ as the new offering will be called is now available at Target Corporation stores. But Ben & Jerry’s did not release the product elsewhere and has reportedly confirmed the launch to be Target exclusive.
Featuring almond milk and chocolate base, the new salted and swirled has chocolate sandwich cookies and salted caramel swirled in it. The company on their website states-
“When salty meets sweet & chunk meets swirl, it’s more than your average love story: it’s a non-dairy flavor you can bank all your forever on, with dreamy chocolate, salted caramel, & chocolate cookies. It can’t wait to meet your parents.”Ben & Jerry’s via benjerry.com
Ben & Jerry, after this launch, now boasts of as many as 12 flavors of vegan frozen desserts. Speaking about their vegan ice-creams, Sarah Fidler, the company’s flavor guru said that ever since their launch of vegan versions back in 2016, the demand has only grown. The Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Chunk was launched by B&J’s last month and has been loved by fans.
Ben & Jerry’s while speaking to Forbes mentioned their journey to launching the first line-up of non-dairy ice-creams back in 2016. According to taste guru Kirsten Schimoler, they had to experiment with some 60 versions to land into perfection. Makers like B&J’s, Enlightened, Perry’s Ice-cream, Nada Moo and Arctic Zero (lactose-free) are few of the many vegan ice-cream makers that ensures no craving is missed while abstaining from mainstream eating for the greater good.
