Enjoy at the Woodstock Farm, New York’s June Jamboree Fest this Saturday
This Saturday, June 22nd, Woodstock Farm Sanctuary at High Falls, New York welcomes you and your family to attend their June Jamboree 2019, the 12th Annual Summer Festival. The extravagant event hosted by the farm sanctuary will have so much for you and your kids to enjoy. Take a stroll around the sanctuary, meet the hundreds of rescued animals like turkeys, pigs and cows, goats and more, and learn about their life-stories from the humane educators. Kids will be able to fully utilize their energies in the bounce house and water slides meant for them.
Not just it, there is more to the event. Award-winning veggie food truck like Yeah Dawg!, Like No Udder Ice Cream, and Cinnamon Snail will be stationed there, along with other vegan booths. Meaning, you will eat vegan food to your heart’s fill. And if your veganism is for life, get yourself a vegan-themed tattoo, done on-site by tattoo artists present there from Gristle Tattoo, Brooklyn.

Other planned activities would include Our Hen House recording their 500th podcast in presence of special guest- Gene Baur of Farm Sanctuary. Brenda Sanders, a food justice activist, founder of Afro-Vegan Society, co-founder of Thrive Baltimore, will deliver an enlightening talk in the annual event.
Press/media will be able to interview, take photographs and get insights about the farm’s future plans and updates from Executive Director Rachel McCrystal and Shelter Director Hervé Breuil, of Woodstock Farm Sanctuary. Other special guests attending the Jamboree will be available for interviews, according to a press release.
Where to Go, and When?
Woodstock Farm Sanctuary salvages farm animals from the yoke of exploitation and connects them to people and give them a home. They are proponents of veganism and advocates for animal rights. You can reach the farm that is located just 90-minutes north of New York City at High Falls, N.Y. The event will start from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., rain or shine, on Saturday, June 22nd.
