Summer Treats for Vegan Kids- From Ben and Jerry’s to DIY S’Mores
Non-Dairy Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream

Want to expand your arsenal of vegan ice cream? So Delicious, Halo Top (Select flavors), Haagen-Dazs (Select flavors), Tofutti, Trader Joe’s Soy Creamy, Nada Moo, and Breyers (Select flavors) also are here to help you satisfy your kid’s ice cream cravings.
Vegan BBQ S’Mores
Want to make s’mores for your vegan kids but don’t have plans to go camping any time soon? No worries, because you can make them at home on the BBQ! With vegan marshmallows (Dandies All Naturals, Freedom Marshmallows, Trader Joe’s Vegan Marshmallows), vegan graham crackers ( Original Nabisco Grahams), vegan chocolate bars (Moo Free, Vego, accidentally vegan dark chocolate brands), and some aluminum foil, you can achieve the delicious melts s’mores of your dreams. Build your s’ mores, wrap in aluminum foil, let cook on the barbecue for a couple of minutes, and voila! Just be extra careful removing from the barbecue and serving!
Fruity Homemade Vegan Parfait

As a refreshing yet healthy Summer morning treat, parfaits will be your new go-to this upcoming warm-weather season. Layer your favorite vegan yogurt (I love Alpro and So Delicious brand) with granola (learn how to make your own here), and fresh chopped fruit of your choice. Want to get fancy? Purée some of your fruit to layer in! I love to purée mango in mine and top the whole thing off with a spoon of chia seeds.
Ciao Bella Dairy-Free Sorbetto
Want to enjoy something creamy, cold, and delicious with your vegan kids but are a bit scared by the crazy amount of sugar in some common vegan ice creams? Opt for a lighter option-sorbet! Ciao Bella has dairy-free sorbet in a large number of flavors including blood orange (my personal fave!), peach sangria, chocolate, coconut, and strawberry limonato. Can’t find vegan sorbet in your local shop? You can make it effortlessly at home with minimal ingredients.
